Every year the Rotary Club of Shelburne holds a fundraising raffle in the months leading up to the Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship. The winners are drawn during the Championship Finals, this year on August 8, at around 11 pm at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (Shelburne Arena). You can purchase raffle tickets from any Shelburne Rotarian or at the Fiddle Championship; $5 each or 5 for $20.
This year’s raffle prizes are:
First Prize: All inclusive vacation for two to the GRAND SIRENIS RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO. Donated by Nolitours, Grand Sirenis and Tripcentral.ca. $3,200.00 value.
Second Prize: Original framed painting by local artists Lynda Buffet. $500.00 value.
Third Prize: Original framed pressed dried flower artpiece by Kerstin Stinson, Artistry in Flowers. $350.00 value.
Fourth Prize: $200.00 gas card.
Fifth Prize: $50.00 gas card.
